Haha...Straw man fallacy... ok, I got it. tough read though, this must be a kind of story poetry. I still don't understand who the girl is suppose to be or what she represents or what she did to make his day so bright. Why would she make him happy by asking him if he was happy? And why are they replacing the straw man? It is just not clear to me. I must not be deep enough to get it. Great writing as usual. Excellent imagery.
